Participants learn how to operate sewing machines, design patterns, and produce quality clothing items such as uniforms, dresses, shirts, and household items like curtains and tablecloths. This empowers them to earn sustainable incomes, enhances their self-reliance, and fosters economic independence
Our liquid soap production training equips participants with the skills to formulate and produce high-quality, affordable liquid soap. Trainees learn the entire production process, from sourcing ingredients to packaging and marketing the product. This skill enables community members to create businesses, contribute to hygiene improvement, and address sanitation needs effectively within their communities.
Understanding the critical role of financial resources in empowering communities, we provide selected individuals and groups with essential start-up capital. This financial support helps participants launch their own businesses, manage initial operational costs, purchase necessary equipment and raw materials, and ensures their entrepreneurial ventures have a solid foundation for sustainable growth.
The bathing soap-making program teaches participants how to produce soap bars through safe, affordable, and sustainable methods. Participants learn ingredient selection, soap-making techniques, packaging, and branding strategies. This initiative supports personal hygiene, creates income-generating opportunities, and strengthens local economies by reducing dependence on imported soap products.
Our bakery training program offers comprehensive instruction on baking a variety of goods, including bread, cakes, pastries, and cookies. Participants acquire technical baking skills, learn business management practices, and gain insights into market access and product sales. The bakery initiative not only addresses nutritional needs within communities but also opens doors to profitable and sustainable small businesses.
In the lotion-making training, community members learn to create nourishing, high-quality body lotions from locally available ingredients. The program emphasizes hygiene standards, product safety, and effective marketing strategies. Participants are equipped with the skills to start home-based enterprises, cater to local skincare needs, and enhance their communities’ well-being.
The craft shoe-making initiative trains individuals to create durable, stylish, and comfortable footwear. Participants learn various shoe-making techniques, including designing, cutting, stitching, and finishing. This skill addresses both personal and community footwear needs, creates employment opportunities, and promotes local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
We believe that the gospel is the true message on which we must feed for our growth, nourishment and strength. But we also believe that the gospel is patterned, therefore we seek to reveal the whole counsel of God to the believers.
Our landlord is selling the land where our church and school, Empowerment Christian School, have been built. In order to own our land and keep our permanent buildings we must fund the remaining purchase price of $41,000 usd. By God’s grace we have paid down the first half of the full purchase price of $81,000 usd.
